Stemzo RMS ("the App") is a business operations application published by Stemzo India Private Limited ("Stemzo," "we," "us"). It is used by distribution and trading businesses to run deliveries, proof of delivery, attendance, approvals and payroll. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
The App is available to download publicly, but it cannot be used without credentials. There is no self sign-up. You can only sign in with a login issued to you by your employer, or by Stemzo on your employer's instruction. If you have not been issued credentials, the App will not show you any data.
It is used in two situations: by Stemzo's own employees and drivers, and by the staff of other businesses that have engaged Stemzo to run their operations on the App.
Who is responsible for your data. If you were issued your login by another business — your employer — then that business decides what is recorded about you and why, and Stemzo processes that information on their behalf and on their instructions. Requests to see, correct or delete your records should go to your employer first. We will always help, and Section 7 tells you how to reach us directly.
All data collected by the App is used exclusively to operate the business that issued your login — attendance and payroll management, delivery and dispatch coordination, and internal approvals — and to provide and support the App itself. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not use it to train machine learning models.
Data is stored on Google's infrastructure — Google Sheets and Google Drive within Google Workspace, and Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Functions) — in workspaces and projects operated by Stemzo for each deployment. Access is controlled by role: staff see their own records, and managers see the records of the people and routes they are responsible for.
Where a business connects its own accounting system (Tally), the App reads sales voucher data from that system over an outbound-only encrypted tunnel. That connection is read-only from the App's side and pulls only the records needed to reconcile deliveries.
We do not share your data with any third party for their own purposes. It is disclosed only to Google as the infrastructure provider, to the business that issued your login, and where we are required to do so by law.
We retain records for as long as necessary to support ongoing employment, payroll, statutory and tax compliance, and business operations, consistent with Indian labour and tax record-keeping requirements.
If a business stops using the App, we delete or return its data within 90 days of the end of the engagement, except where we are required by law to keep it longer.
To request deletion of your own account and personal data, email customer@stemzo.ai from any address, or write to the postal address in Section 7. We will confirm your identity, tell your employer where employment records are involved, and action the request within 30 days. Note that payroll and statutory attendance records may have to be retained for the periods Indian law requires, even after an account is closed; we will tell you if that applies to you.
The App is intended solely for use by adults in the course of their work. It is not directed at, and is not knowingly used by, children.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. If we ever begin collecting something materially different from what is described here, we will say so on this page rather than quietly amending it.
